Concert by Streetview Dixieclub 19 August

As a part of Riga City Festival, Kalnciema Quarter will host jazz improvisation virtuosos Streetview Dixieclub on 19th of August at 8 PM. True New Orleans Jazz spirit, feeling of the previous century and creative atmosphere – characteristics of the upcoming event.

Streetview Dixieclub is a group of eight musicians from Austria, whose jazz humor and jokes turn their performances into enjoyable full-length entertainment. The musicians say that everyone in the concert tour “One Night in New Orleans” will find true stories about Bourbon Street, Basin Street and French Quarter, meet "Hello Dolly" and the bitter sweet "Sweet Georgia Brown", get something from "Ice cream" and "Heartaches".

During the concert, children with their parents are invited to participate in the creative workshop “Authentic gardens in the 20th century” – learn how the historical yards, gardens and parks in Riga looked like and plan your own city.

The concert is organised by Kalnciema Quarter, supported by Riga City Council, Lielvārdes alus and Bellevue Park Hotel Riga.
