On 30th September from 10 AM to 4 PM, the annual "Italian market" will be held in Kalnciema quarter - Italian cuisine, delicious songs, delicious Italian delicacies and wines. Italian culture ambassadors in Latvia L'ITALII will show the magic of Italian language, and children are invited to get acquainted with Mona Lisa and her secret.

Latvian "Italians" and Italian Italians will introduce visitors with Italian delicacies, such as hard and soft cheeses, exquisite pasta, pesto, delicious desserts, ice cream and genuine Italian coffee. You will also be able to taste Italian pizza. The Wine Shop will offer excellent Italian wines from the small Italian region Marke, which can be enjoyed in the apple-tree garden. Italian music will surround the yard. There will also be representatives of Italian cosmetics, beautiful jewellery and different crafts. Everyone is invited to take part in L'ITALII language training to get acquainted with Italian culture and language.

12.00 - 13.00 Italian language lessons for adults

What do you need to speak Italian? 200g of pleasure and 250g of culture! Come and learn the recipe how to speak Italian!

11.00 - 15.00 at the gallery children's workshop with L'ITALII: "Joke with Mona Lisa"

Who really was Mona Lisa painted by the famous Italian Leonardo da Vinci? Why did she smile? Perhaps the mysterious personality of Mona Lisa and the mysterious smile can be solved by jokes? Children will draw, cut and glue their own Mona Lisa, astonish themselves and others with witness!
