Jazz Singer Iveta Gaile and Jakob Noiman Festival Band in concert June 8

Jazz singer Iveta Gaile will present her latest concert program "Birds on Strings". This music is a merge of different styles - folk, classical and jazz music written last spring in Netherlands together with musicians who weren't familiar with Latvian folk music. How time has come to perform these peculiar, joyful Latvian folk song arrangements also in her motherland! A colorful performance with masterful surprises is guaranteed! Jakob Noiman Festival Band is well known in Kalnciema kvartāls. The band will perform new compositions and the old favorites.
