Independent market and an ethnic decoartion workshop in Kalnciema quarter, November 18

On November 18 at 10.00-16.00 - the most patriotic market of the year in the Kalnciema quarter. Together with the popularizers of Latvian and Spanish folk art and intangible cultural heritage, the association LeLat, at 10.30-13.00 in the gallery will invite you to an ethnic decoration workshop  - a decoration made of straw, a symbol of the universe.

At the merchants, you will be able to find patriotic accessories and jewelry, woolen scarves, gloves, earthenware and other handicrafts of local artisans. Homemakers will have prepared holiday snacks and cakes, while farmers will be able to buy fresh and local products for preparing a festive lunch or dinner.
