Kalnciema Quarter invites to Christmas Markets in December

During December in Kalnciema Quarter visitors will have an opportunity to experience Christmas Markets every saturday and SUNDAY from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Kalnciema Quarter Markets are well known for their special holiday atmosphere, which will be full of glory at Christmas. Unusual, high-quality, delicious, warm, fragrant gifts, hot wine and meetings, various adventures and surprises for children - all of this awaits you on Saturdays and Sundays during whole December.

Kalnciema Quarter Markets take place for almost 10 years in the yard of the restored 19th century wooden buildings, where farmers and craftsmen from all over Latvia meet in the same place. Foreign visitors of Latvia have a rare opportunity to get to know local culture at Kalnciema Quarter market and purchase unique pottery from Latgale, rye-bread made according to ancient Latvian recipes, linen and wool products,  latest Latvian art works at the pop-art fair "Art Hunting", or simply enjoy a great, freshly squeezed apple juice.

In addition to the market, a large program for families with children is also planned - several book presentation events, cinema, concerts and various creative workshops suitable for holidays. A special program is provided for each Saturday and Sunday of December.
