On September 7th Theater Day

As in every September, this year too, we invite theater enthusiasts to kick off their theater season at Kalnciema Quarter! On September 7th, alongside the weekly farmers' and artisans' market, the stage will feature locals from Vilsons Production with a small performance by Mārtiņš Vilsons and actors from the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre, who will take you on a journey through the world's most beautiful melodies, performing songs from Chekhov's most beloved plays. Special discounts for friends will be available for Theater Day, and you can purchase invitations and gift cards for upcoming performances, as well as explore the repertoire.

Meanwhile, at the farmers' market, you will find more and more autumn treasures – colorful apples, juicy plums, this year's honey, potted chrysanthemums, and other vibrant September offerings, such as lingonberries, mushrooms, freshly baked bread, dried meat, and goat cheese. Artisans promise to bring warm mohair sweaters, scarves, new coffee mugs, and accessories to help you stand out.
