Kalnciema Quarter
represents Latvia in the matters of preservation and renovation of the wooden
architecture heritage – our specialists participate in the public events,
international research and development projects, welcome European royalties and
government officials, international delegations and visitors.

Kalnciema Quarter was
the only delegate of the Baltic states in the European Heritage Days, 2011, in Wrocław, Poland. We shared our experience
in the
UK-Nordic-Baltic Summit (Northern Future Forum) of 2011 in
London, hosted by the prime minister of the United Kingdom. In 2013, Kalnciema
Quarter was the venue of an informal welcoming dinner given to the prime
ministers of Nordic countries, Baltic states and the United Kingdom.
