 Festive lunch will be prepared over an open fire and enjoyed in the fresh air with family – that’s how we’ll celebrate Easter at Kalnciema Quarter on April 19 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM! 

At the market, you’ll find free-range chicken eggs from "Veikals Idille", quail eggs from "Olalā", Easter collection clothing from "Hebe", and wild garlic pesto from Z/S Vārpas. Your favorite farmers and artisans will have prepared Easter-themed treats, including egg candles, spring-patterned dishware, pussy willows, and colorful compositions to bring the holiday spirit to both your table and garden. Meanwhile, Z/S Bites will adorn Melnsila Street with vibrant spring flower seedlings.

 From 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, a weekly children’s art workshop will take place at the café for kids aged 5 and up, led by illustrator Signe Ērmane. In the courtyard, the "Zili Brīnumi" collective will host a creative workshop where visitors can explore and try out the cyanotype printing technique, also known as sun print, using only natural materials and sunlight.
